On this website we proudly present our patisserie at the Vijzelgracht in the heart of Amsterdam.
All our products are freshly made daily, with a lot of devotion and love, all made by hand and with traditional recipe and working methods.
Our assortment consists of many classics like tarte tatin, shrimp croquettes, dutch 'stroopkoeken' and 'amandelkrullen', baba au rhum and lemon meringue pie.
Although we have a lot of inspiration and new ideas, our products stay the same. While we may, on occasion, introduce a new classic, we stick to traditional recipes and methods, and we don't follow the latest hypes. And last but not least: we only make pastry that we love to eat ourselves!
We hope to one day welcome you in our pastry shop!

It is not without pride that we present you our new company outfit. Fashion designer Mart Visser designed this line especially for our shop-assistants. For some time we had been looking for a new outfit that fit the image of our company and was comfortable to wear. This turned out to be not that simple.
Eventually we came into contact with Mart Visser, who immediately knew how to translate our ideas into fabrics. At first we thought that that would be incredibly expensive, but it turned out we could handle the price tag. And so the quality of the design became the decisive factor. Together with Mart we achieved a wonderful result: the new company outfit is classic and it exudes quality, two things that are paramount in the way we run our business.
Our company is known for sticking to proven concepts: the traditional recipes, the shop and the service have hardly changed at all since the day we opened our doors. Nevertheless we chose to go with a change of company outfit. Our staff, our equipment and the times have changed and all these things mean that our clothing needs to fulfill new requirements.
The design of our new outfit was a serious business. What goes for our products, hold true for our company outfit as well: we continue to improve, without letting go of the traditional recipe. Together with Mart Visser we did it step by step.
Curious about how our shop assistants look in their Mart Vissers? You are very welcome to come and admire them. Our clothing may have changed, but we assure you that our products still taste as well as they have always done.
